We have spent a wonderful pair of days in this beautiful boutique Hotel. Jet and his wife are really very good anfitrions and they do everything possible for their guest to feel welcome. We ate the first night in the beautiful restaurant and enjoy a lot of the nice food and wines. This is a place for those who are looking something different from common at a good price. We would like to come back and recommend it to any one. Conclusion: we will repeat.
The hotel is a beautiful spanish house with all the Andalucian taste. It is located very near to the road but must say we have absolutely not hinder or noise as we first were afraid of. Honestly there is nothing we found really not nice at this hotel.

We had the most delightful stay at Hotel La Tartana with the hosts, Jed & Amanda doing everything possible to make our stay so nice. The room was a delight and very clean. The food was excellent and the presentation beautiful. The ´front man´in the restaurant (John) is fabulous and a real asset to the Hotel, with an excellent sense of humour and makes things run so smoothly and effortlessly during your stay. The hotel has many nice terraces for you to relax, with lovely views of the sea. However, the only drawback is that the Hotel is built on a very steep incline and, at the moment, parking is quite difficult and the walk up to your car with the suitcases, is not easy. Apparently, a new car park is on the agenda, so that will make things a little easier. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn´t hesitate to recommend this Hotel to anyone.
As above, the parking was not good but, apparently, it is to be rectified with a new parking area at some stage.

Excellent food. Pretty room (5) but small. Hard working and friendly staff
Being moved from our booked room (1) which was larger without notice. Incredible amount of night time disturbance from pack of dogs on neighbouring property. The web site not mentioning that the hotel is not in the town but on the approach road. The hotel being understaffed meaning that the staff on duty were working at hectic pace creating a feeling of chaos and confusion. Poor breakfast even by continental standards. No prepared fruit, no fruit juice, no hot option, vending machine coffee. Just corn flakes, bread, jam and croissants.

The hotel has a very, very good restaurant in a nice outdoor flowersurrounded atmosphere- and wonderful owners/staff.
Rather small room if fitting in an extra bed. We thought from description that it was closer to the beach, but it ended up meaning nothing. It is a 5 min walk and the hotel was worth it.
